How soon can I get started?
You can get started immediately by contacting
a ZirMed sales representative or our Fulfillment Department to set up
testing and implementation.
How long is the testing process?
Testing is generally completed within 3 business days or less. If you act now,
your facility could be sending live statements to ZirMed today!
Can my statements from the test file be
mailed?
Absolutely. ZirMed can test your most current file and, once you have approved
the samples, mail the statements from that file so that the billing cycle
continues as normal.
What file formats do you accept?
Our mapping staff has seen it all and we can accept almost anything including
database records and printer output files.
How fast are statements turned around?
Statements are generally in the mail within the next business day. However, we
guarantee that they are mailed within 48 business hours from the time that they
are uploaded to ZirMed or those statements will be processed at no cost to you!
What about inserts and special mailings?
ZirMed can provide custom inserts created especially for you, or work with you
to customize special mailings (Cards, letters, brochures, etc.)
Can I customize my statements?
You can definitely customize the look and layout of the statements.
Does ZirMed charge extra to make changes to
statements once in production?
No. There are no extra charges for changes requested once in production.

Our Patient Statement Service produces
professional, laser printed color statements, collection letters, and
customized special mailings. Statements and collection letters are inserted
into windowed envelopes, which include return envelopes speeding up your cash
collections. ZirMed will customize your
statement layout within the parameters of your data files to meet your needs.
Announcements, marketing information or
other events can easily be communicated to patients with customized inserts
included with the monthly statements, and ZirMed does all of the work. If inserts
are too much, have ZirMed add
messages to your statements to announce changes or important events.

Merely, include a message on the statements instructing patients to visit our secure
e-commerce web site to pay their bill electronically! ZirMed offers the ability to take
credit or debit cards over the Internet and... coming soon... checks. Once the transaction
is processed, a receipt will be generated for the patient to view and email or print as desired.
It’s More Than a Statement.... It’s a System Designed To Collect Your Money Faster!
You will continue to enter your patient data into your practice management system
as you do today. Our implementation specialists will assist you in extracting the
statement file from your system and transmitting the file to ZirMed. You have the
option of transmitting the file via FTP or using HTTPS via our private, secure web
site. Once the file is received by ZirMed, you will be able to review accurate and
concise confirmation reports containing patient information. Statements will also
be available for on-line viewing - especially helpful when patients call with
questions regarding their statements.
Our unique software cleanses addresses and deletes punctuation to conform to national
postal regulations. The addresses are bar coded to ensure faster delivery of the
statements and also faster receipt of payments. ZirMed uses Fastforward® to deliver
mail to patients who have moved and left a forwarding address with the United States
Postal Service. Once statements are forwarded, you receive a report containing your
patient’s address information via our website.
